Jerry, you were right.... Chic Shadow is too light. It's too late now, the decorator's finished and I regret leaving the chimney breast white, I should've had that painted too (maybe I'll do it myself one of these days). Oh well, it's not too bad for a barely used room :)) I managed to put some stuff back today; although I still need to hammer the prints and buy the rug. I got rid of most of the wires by creating a false wall behind the projector and running most cables behind it; I had a sheet of melamine left from another job and just cut it to size and fixed it (hubby was impressed :)) Also, I hung the mount alone, it was a bit of a struggle to find the joist and avoid the wires, but luckily I kept the photos from when it was built and used it to "guess" its position. This is it, I still haven't decided on a rug, but I'll probably do it this week. See below: construction photo, mid painting and final! Thanks again for your help, Ellie

Personally I would move the dining area to the pre-lounge as this is furthest from the window and it is easy to have it well presented to it is always a good first impression for guests as they enter your home. I would keep the living area in the heart of the house if only to ensure that there is no glare on the TV screen. near the doors to the terrace I would put some low seating to enjoy the evening sunset or your breakfast coffee.

We can really relate to this poll as we design and install all manner of home cinemas, from a sound-bar right through to a dedicated cinema room which will deliver better visual and sound than the local cinema. However, we find the cinema is still an experience for some of our customers: - you get to see the latest film you've been waiting for - maybe grab a meal before/after - maybe the film just has to be seen in 3D or in an IMAX [3D at home is typically limited] We think that some films just have to seen at the cinema; and with the latest entry-level TVs offering a great picture and cinema surround sound systems readily available off the shelf, the quality of cinema at home is really accessible - especially for your favourite boxset!!
