Adding kerb appeal

Hello all,
Hopefully you can help. Aside from changing the windows, is there anything else that would work to revamp this Edwardian exterior? Removing the render to restore the brickwork is most likely not an option as no other similar houses in this section of street have exposed brick so I assume they've all been rendered for a reason! Would brick slip render work or do they look really fake?
Any suggestions on what can be done with the porch? It looks really tacky but it does have its practicalities. Can doors be easily replaced to be more in keeping with the house's era or would the whole porch require replacing?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
