Ideas for high decking ?

Hey everyone so we have a decking area which is quite high up . We are in the process of putting up a cable wire fence around the edge but once we are done the area underneath which is currently exposed … does anyone have any nice ideas on how to cover this that makes it aesthetically pleasing?

Smooth decking for UK?

It's not so much a case of the stain or paint, its more about where to get smooth faced decking that isn't going to cost the earth. If I can get a cheaper decking that I stain and varnish which will look as good as the above photos, i'll be happy. I know it wont have the same robustness or durability of Balau or Cedar, but if I keep the regular treatment then it should last

You could use more decking to fill the gap, or create a border, or put doors on it to create storage? Whatever you choose, I would also remove all the debris underneath as it could attract rats.
