Furniture for beach house rental

I’m looking for resources to find furniture and decor for a beach house rental. This is new construction 10 bedrooms. Comfortable, casual, coastal feel. I finished an 8 bedroom and ordered from a variety of places including Wayfair, Costco, Bassett, but looking for more options.

10 bedrooms says commercial furniture, rugs and flooring to me. The house is going to have a lot of wear and tear.

You should consider using leather for the high traffic areas. It will cost more on the front end but save money in the long run. Easy to clean, no odor, great for guests with allergies and far outlasts fabric.

Hi. I must admit the carpet looks fine in the photo but if it's grotty I would just get one rug. I'd go for something in a beigey colour as white will make the space feel smaller. Can you move the sofa away from the curtains just even a couple of inches? The throw is lovely but perhaps try it folded over the arm? I might also add a couple of lighter cushions, either something with the moss green or the bronze that's in the cushion. I'd also accessorise the coffee table ( include flowers or a plant for some greenery) and add art or a mirror over the sofa if allowed. Do you have a photo of the existing light?

I need advice on how to use this hallway space in my rental.

Hi I agree it is a bit big to be called a hallway, however, on either side of it I have a snug with lots of book shelves and my favourite books (first photo) and open fire and a sitting room again with an open fire. The kitchen is small and I have put an Ikea Island in the middle of it as a table would not fit, I also have a 'dining room' where our kitchen table lives, so we don't have much furniture left for our 'hallway'. My sofa is old and is going. But I leave the front big wood door open during the day and the glass porch door closed so I get light through this room, it is lovely in the morning, very bright and I would like to use it more. It just looks like a corridor at the moment. I also have a lovely easel which I would love to put in this area so I might be drawn to do some art. HI Nancy, May I ask whereabouts is this property located? Reason being is that you'd want to keep the interiors in keeping with the location of the property. This post has been posted on the UK Houzz forum and this property doesn't look like it's in the UK! A few pointers also comes from the type of customers you receive in your property. You mentioned tourist attraction for beaches, hiking and wine tours. So there's a few things you could do. Create a beach/theme by adding softer white, sandy tones. Think painting the kitchen units white would definitely modernise it and make it look more fresh. I would also suggest if you are open to it changing the kitchen flooring, to something more modern (this could be a long term plan). The kitchen area with the mircowave could be improved, either by extending the existing units or replacing it with a wider one as it looks a bit empty. You could do with adding some soft furnishings like rugs and cushions, I would advise a lighter coloured rug as you have a lot of dark furniture at the moment. Window treatments could also do with a change and ones that fit. I think you would be better off with a roman blind in some of the rooms and allow the light to flood in. If that's not an option I would checkout shutters and have some curtains in keeping with your colour scheme. In terms of colour, I would actually steer away from beige! As you already have quite a lot of brown tones in the furniture. I would advise an off white colour to brighten and make it look fresh. Beige can feel quite dated and draining so I would be weary of using it in a rental property. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions. Rukmini Patel Interior Design
