Ideas on the best space saving clothes airer ideas please.
Comments (8)Hi. I feel your pain! These traditional ones are the best: You can leave stuff on them and pull them up with the ropes so they are out of the way, provided you have high enough ceilings. There is also this one that attaches between two walls but then doesn't look like much when it is put away. It also comes in white: http://www.brabantia.com/uk/laundry-drying-ironing/clothes-line/pull-out-clothes-lines-stainless-steel/#more Brabantia is a really good brand that comes with long guarantees and they replace parts even when it is just from wear and tear. The Victorian traditional one will last forever, it is just a matter of whether you a place where you like the look of it when it does and doesn't have clothes on it. Good luck!...See MoreNew open plan space - ideas for the snug/lounge space?
Comments (6)I think your snug will always seem a little dark as the room has been elongated with the extension. I think the best you could do is pop a mirror in the snug, the biggest you can afford to see if that makes a difference. A lighter coloured rug possibly? It's a great space though and I like the wallpaper :) It would be a shame to lose the original door but could you change it for one with glass panels in to let light in from the hall?...See MoreThoughts and Ideas Wanted - Kitchen/Dining Space
Comments (2)Hi Indi, I would knock out both walls and have the kitchen, diner and family room all open plan. The lounge would stay separate. I would also add long bi-fold doors and glazing all along the back wall. At the minute it seems like you have through the hallway, then the kitchen to get to the family room? I think that's why the flow is not right....See MoreI have no idea how to dress this bizarre space
Comments (1)Is it a beautiful bookcase? Especially on the lovely bench, that would look lovely. Some shelves on side supports would work for the other side too....See Morechloeloves
