What handles for both sides of internal bifold door

We are nearing completion of our loft conversion and will be installing a bifold door on the bathroom to save a bit of space. Our kids are older and will rarely use that bathroom, so no worries about someone bursting in. We are really struggling, however, to decide on handles. We need a handle on the outside and on the inside, but I just don't know what will work. Has anyone done this themselves and can give us a recommendation? I have included a picture of the door in situ.

Comments (7)Hi Kelly, I see that you have not had a reply to your question. So I would like to help, New bi-fold doors and sliding doors have an excellent thermal value. Doors can be made of multiple materials but the best in look, durability is alimininum, with aluminium and double glazed glass zed glass units you will be more than comfortable in the summer and the winter. If you are concerned about the heat coming into the room, for example, if you are south facing, we have a product called thermal glass. We use thermal glass on our roof lights; it is a treated glass that has a tint and reflects heat, the double glazed units stop heat from escaping. I have attached a few pictures of our skylight showing the thermal glass and an example of large skylights and large bifolds, honestly you will not be worried at all with large amounts glass these thermal values. Comments (17)Hello Sarah. Ref your skirting, the Ogee and Chamfered are lovely but it may be helpful to consider the ceiling height in relation to the depth of the skirting. We are in a 1970s townhouse - VERY plain architecture - and the ceilings are not high. The skirting is very simple - around 4” and just a slight slope in to the wall along the top edge - so it’s recessive to the eye and gives a lot of wall space (i need space for art on the wall so this is good for me). Comments (2)Presumably on one side you will need to have a recessed handle so it isn’t in the way when the door folds against itself. I find the ones with a fold out D ring most comfortable of all the recessed styles. Then for the other side, it’s either the other D ring (they are normally sold in pairs), or if you want a normal handle, whatever is most compatible with the D ring in style and finish....See More5m opening - Bifold or Sliding doors

Obviously we want the thinnest sightline/frames we can afford but the quotes i'm getting are HIGH. 10k+ (+vat) I know there's a supply shortage/pandemic/brexit etc, but if anyone has any recommendations for reasonably priced doors that would be really helpful.
