Hands up if you have a wood-burning stove!
Comments (64)The log burner is in the heart of our home, in a open plan living / dining / cooking space, the warmth reflects on the floorboards and i can drag a chair in front of it to curl up and cosy. I would love to ask any advice on the best type of slow burning logs to buy?...See MoreA blank canvas!
Comments (20)Hahahaha that's fine! You both are right I think, I was thinking of putting pictures on the back wall like you said. When I'm home I'll take a photo of the back wall. Not too sure about mirror, I'm still torn abut whether to keep the TV stand to be honest.... If I was going to put a mirror up I would be getting a mirror to match the wood in the TV stand. It's not a huge problem with the mirror because it'll go in another room no problem :) I'm wanting to change the curtains to plain grey - I have seen blinds and curtains on Windows which I quite like too!...See Moreleave the wall blank or not?
Comments (10)Possibly some/a large artwork, id possibly side on leaving it blank as you mention mid century, I too am a fan of MC but have my living room very dark, don’t get me wrong, I love it but have been getting the strong urge to paint it all white, I have a modern/mid century feel to my home and as nice is the dark room is it just stands out so much from my other rooms....See MoreAdvice required with our ‘Blank canvas’ garden
Comments (43)Hi Rachel, Sorry for the late reply again, full day in the garden..🤷♂️ gotta make the most of the weather! Thank you for this design, I really like your presentation and it does encourage me to ‘have a go’ with the art work, although I don’t think I’ll be posting any of my efforts on here! I wish I also shared your enthusiasm about growing green fingers, but I will try and I’m quite determine to give it a go. Thank you so much for all your ideas and designs over the last few days.. it is really quite humbling the help and enthusiasm from all on here, especially in these days of unprecedented and bizarre circumstances. It has also given me a boost and of course something to focus on whilst on lockdown (I’d never would have had the time/or the weather to have launched myself into this in normal times!) Hopefully I’ll be able to come back to you with some early stage pics of the garden and some design ideas that we’ve taken up. Many thanks again, stay safe and enjoy this glorious weather (😳 this might just be ‘Summer!’) Best regards Bob...See MoreAnndy Manuka
