Please help! Curtain dilemma....
Comments (2)I'd go with the red. You have chosen it because you like it and it will balance the feature wall. Choose a contrast black&white to go with the fire, or patterned navy or... for cushions and a few choice pieces spread around and I think it would look good. Maybe a rug too in front of the fire could include several of the colours used - would make it more cosy....See MoreCushion dilemma
Comments (5)I like the colours but the blue ones are the wrong type of fabric, they're too shiny with the leather couch. I'd look for something with texture, like corduroy maybe. And unfortunately the colour of the throw is clashing with the lovely couch. Maybe you could find one in the green colour from the rug, but a few shades darker? I adore the couch itself and the rug....See MoreRug dilemma
Comments (4)Hello Maureen, If this was my room, I'd probably choose 1 of 2 paths to go down. 1. Chose a lovely colourful rug, and then chose a single colour out of the rug for your curtains. So this rug with these curtains: https://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/prod/ready-made-curtains/lined-curtains/rimini-ready-made-lined-curtains-teal/ Or this rug: With these curtains: https://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/prod/ready-made-curtains/pencil-pleat/dijon-ready-made-blackout-curtains-silver/ 2. Choose a monochrome rug, and instead pick out an accent colour with the curtains (and cushions etc) With these curtains: https://www.naturalcurtaincompany.co.uk/made-to-measure-curtains-customise/?fabricID=9094 Or this rug: With these curtains: https://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/prod/made-to-measure-curtains/rust-rib-plain-made-to-measure-curtains-rib-plain-rust/ I hope this helps!...See MoreRug Dilemma - Grey Walls, Brown Floor, Dark Grey Sofa
Comments (7)Out of all the rugs (even though I like the first one in pattern) I think the second one will be good as it will lift the floor but still have a neutral pattern so you can change colours in accessories when you want to. Rugs are expensive so unless you are set on a specific colour theme (like the blue rug or the yellow geometric one) then the second option - or similar, will be easier to move around and take with you. Similarly, something else in a multicoloured tone or with a heavier neutral colour pattern would also work. Down to your colour preferences really?...See MoreSonia
