Comments (5)Your fencing has a cottage feel so I assume your garden is cottagey? A lot of people are painting fences black or dark grey and it does look good and it gives a more modern feel. I personally wouldn’t paint a fence in too bright a colour as it can be very overwhelming. I really like the deeper sage green colour Wild Thyme as it goes well with nature. The first picture is Wild Thyme. I think the bright colours such as the pink or blue are more for planters and pots or even a shed, rather than a fence. I think taupe shades like Muted Clay and Natural Stone can also look good. In one of the pics below someone has painted their fence in white and it looks lovely against the green planting. Reading this on my phone, in the sunshine, so perhaps I can’t see it properly, but the fence on the left looks like the original paint colour in the bottom (before?) photo.
