loft en suirte shower

We have a loft conversion & want to try & fit a shower in the eaves. The measurements seem too small to accommodate one.

The height is 1.92 & the width of the highest point is less than 700. We have plenty of floor space.

Do they make glass screens that are not so high?

We have a free standing modern bath, Vanity unit & wc. which will all fit in

Just struggling with the shower size..

Any small shower ideas please?

Think the shortest is 1750 or 1800 https://www.coram.co.uk/product-category/shower-enclosures/gb/

BUT that’s usually with an 800 width standard. If you want 700 then you might have to get one made or look at a fixed panel with single opening door.

There is a company who will make a door to order and are reasonable priced (I say reasonable but a few hundred vs maybe £100-150 online for standard small door!) I can dig out the name if you are interested

Thanks for the information.. The web site is very helpful.

I am going to double check the measurements, hoping that the width may be a bit more..

If I had a walk in shower with just a glass panel could I have it any width if its a wet room.?

The space isn't overly massive so I would just go for one en suite. As long as you have a bath elsewhere in the house then would always opt for a shower, far more practical. You don't mention the size of the rest of the house but I think a larger bedroom would be more appealing than 2 ensuites. Have you thought of extending elsewhere if you are purely doing it to add value? Have you looked to see if anyone has done that in your area and what value it has added? Sometimes properties reach ceiling price in an area so you do need to consider what you spend. It might be worth getting a free valuation on your house and asking the estate agent at the same time. Sorry, longer ramble!

We have done a completed room in a loft but again i could only send you images, my advice would be to contact local contractors in your area and see if they have any images on there website or could arrange a free service to come out and design your ensuite.

Personally I would have the master bedroom in this space on the 1st floor- after all the footprint is bigger and the ceiling height is likely better. There is enough room in the loft for two kids bedrooms- when they start paying the mortgage they can argue for the best bedroom space but right now you should have it.

I guess so but I'm not an expert with showers as such - just going off what I found out when looking for one for our loft en-suite. We have just used a push fitting shower pole for the moment with a curtain until we sort out the custom door (ours is fiddly as we need an in-fold design so it's more expensive!)
