Help! Urgent bathroom advice needed please!
Comments (6)Don't mix your tiles colours....It will feel bigger if you stick to just one colour. To be fair the window is enormous for the room so you already have something to break up the tiles! If you want the room to look more polished like a hotel bathroom I would have dark grout and add brushed steel trims. Have the trims on all the window corners and then add trim at picture rail height and another at skirting board height. Make sure the grout lines match on the floor and walls. If you are having a floating toilet and vanity make sure your towel rail pipes come out of the wall not the floor. In my opinion underfloor heating is well worth the minor cost. A slatted blind may trick your eye into thinking the room is bigger although I might investigate if your local glass merchant can fit a mirror behind the vanity- this could be fitted with the same fittings that would hold a glass balcony secured top and bottom of the window recess and you could have a simple roller blind behind it....See MoreNew house has long living room, need help with layout and design.
Comments (10)Hello! Wow! Thank you very much for your advice. So, there is a radiator on the right hand wall. That is where current owners put their tv. Not sure it will fit, will measure up soon hopefully. The TV could go on a smaller unit to be honest, and will make sure radiator is turned down! Just worried that there isn't enough room for a corner sofa there with the door to the hallway..(see photos on rightmove) I LOVE the idea of large mirrors either side of fireplace. Pinching that! ;) My current living room is decorated in shades of greys and lots of gold. Thinking of going navy and gold but not too sure. Sofa colours argh! Huge thanks I'm very grateful. Comments (11)Hi, thanks for taking the time to reply. I thought I might use the additional living room space as a play area and could perhaps get a screen if I wanted to hide toys away when not in use and could add an armchair/chaise by fire in dining room. Need to zone but haven't had such q big space to do before so a bit overwhelmed with flooring/colour/furniture choices and things it all together, large rugs definitely on the shopping list. Definitely want to get rid of the dark wood on doors and skirting. We are going to put recessed downlights in kitchen and dining room and either two pendants or more downlights in living room. The current dining room light is centered to fit the previous owners table so we can change this. Think I want pendants over new breakfast bar. I like the idea of painting archway darker colour to define areas, funnily enough just saw that in Ideal Home mag yest. Thanks again!...See MoreAdvice Needed!!New Kitchen Layout
Comments (12)I am personally a fan of open plan and even kids love being in an open plan area specially if you will have kids it's a great idea to watch over them or do things together as a family.. and in terms of roof if pitched roof is giving high ceiling then go for that :)! All the best beautiful home btw!...See MoreTME Interiors
