should i paint the cupboards & their surround white plus change the ha
Comments (7)The copper coloured containers near the stove and the yellow colour in the kitchen gives me the cue as to what to do. This is more a contemporary styled kitchen. I would infuse it with bold and bright coloured equipments, utensils to take advantage of the dark backsplash. Bold and bright colours such as red, yellow chrome or copper/gold will help take the focus away from the cream that is irking you. If your coffee machine is new then replace it with crome and red one. I would have a coloured caddy and for the utensils. Brighten up the area near the microwave and your kitchen will look classy. Do away with black - An obvious contrast to cream and white but with a dark work top and backsplash, not the best choice....See MoreWhat colours should I choose to go with my aubergine/cream kitchen?
Comments (8)I would go for high gloss mustard green wet wall where the tiles were. This colour looks great with aubergine and the sleek finish will instantly update the kitchen. Positional ceiling halogens and lighting under the wall cupboards to make the rich colours glow. I think three colours are fine, especially if you pull them together in a blind fabric or cushion. ???...See Moreplanning new floor, should I change worktop?
Comments (2)I wouldn't change the worktop to white sparkle, it won't go with cream units. You could go with a grey tone to match the flooring and draw it all together. I think you may struggle with a grey tone that's going to work well with the units. Creams and beige's are hard to match with a grey. This is the quick step Livyn Canyon oak grey This is the same in Smoked Oak Lastly Black Oak, which suits the units a lot better and goes with the work top. It does have grey tones, but obviously retains the brown. You can then grey the walls which will bring it all together. I'd take a drawer front off or even a small cupboard door and then take it along to the flooring shops so that you can see what will go with the kitchen....See MoreShould we change the colour of our front door?
