The backsplash is the kind of neutral that doesn't take from the cozy cottage feel. Black accents boldly draw the mocha, white, and grays of the color scheme together. My preference for white wooden cabinets leaves me little room to criticize. If I had to change anything, I'd like a granite island over wood.
