This holiday house in Provence needed a major makeover without breaking the bank. I assisted in selecting tiles and other materials and offered advice on the arrangement and design, including what could be kept and what should be improved.
In the kitchen, for example, we chose to keep the existing furniture, sanded and relacquered the wood floor, enlarged a window to bring in more natural light, installed new pendant lighting in terracotta ceramic, wall lights in antique brass, and picked soft pink Moroccan Zellige tiles for the splashback.
Special attention was given to the colour scheme throughout the property, with soft pink accents and chalk tones that complement the existing terracotta flooring in some of the bedrooms.
This is now a charming holiday house with a fantastic view over the Luberon massif.
