Located in the Heaver conservation area in Balham, this semi-detached house was love after sight and I wanted to maintain the beautiful period features, whilst bringing it up to date. Untouched for almost 40 years, the property needed a good refresh. I designed a new extension with lots of glazing and a pitched roof and relocated the kitchen in it. On the ground floor, there is a sitting room, dining room, a large open plan kitchen and family room as well as a laundry room. I was also responsible for re-designing the entire house, creating a third bathroom, bespoke joinery and sourcing all materials and new furniture.
