Contemporary Garden

A steeply sloping garden with an awkward shape meant that the land had to be retained. Using a mix of bespoke corten steel panels, cedar cladding and stone filled gabions a strong structure was created which has been softened by informal planting of perennials and grasses. The rich colour of the corten is matched by the wooden cladding. Pale coloured porcelain paving brings light into the garden and adds to the contemporary feel. As the patio area is compact, a built in seat was cantilevered into the wall.
