These custom stairs are part of the 11 Gostwick Place project. These stairs were designed and built by Gostwick Architecture and are completely custom with many of the elements being built from scratch.

The support structure for the stairs was fabricated from a cranked RHS from which the 3 support fingers were welded to. The solid Oak railway sleepers were cut to size and each one had to have 3 slots routed out on the underside in order to accommodate the support fingers. The acrylic panels were all precision cut using a CNC machine. The lighting to the edge of the stair which adds to the illusion that these stairs are floating had to be specially manufactured to fit over the 3 finger support.
