Mission style cabinetry compliments a traditional two story colonial home. We started with the typical "60's U-shape" kitchen that had been painted many times over. We removed soffits and the upper peninsula cabinets to open up the space, took out an antiquated unused desk space and added more base and upper storage with glass mullion detailing. We removed a closet style pantry, and incorporated matching cabientry with pullouts, but maintained the clothes chute space coming from the upstairs.
