Flow Penthouse
Flow penthouse is a 3-bedroom family apartment in Kensington. Completed in 2019 for a private client, this project celebrates the wonderful curves of the building.
Originally a kidney-shaped plant-room at the top of an existing apartment building, the challenge of this project was to transform the space into a flowing open-plan penthouse apartment. We saw this an opportunity to create really interesting spaces that easily flow together and enjoy 360-degree views of the leafy treetops of Kensington in London.
We used a simple palette of oak flooring and off-white painted walls to allow a clean reading of the flowing curves of the building.
In the kitchens and bathrooms, we used polished plaster finishes to further embrace these flowing curved lines. This polished plaster adds a calmness and softness to these spaces.
