Fulgrave

The mark of good cabinet making is when you can produce a kitchen that feels as though its part of the building original interior. That’s certainly the case with the kitchen in this beautiful, Edwardian country house.

The furniture is perfectly scaled to the rooms dimensions and small details, such as the cabinet frames cock beading along with period accessories such as the butlers sink, all help to achieve the perfect Edwardian feel – yet a carefully considered choice of finishes cleverly delivers a 21st century twist.

The combination of light paint tones and bleached oak provides a sublte, contrast of visually pleasing finishes, with the furniture being defined by dark stone worktops. These serve to tie the furniture in with the AGA

The tall bleached oak cabinet, at the end of the room, actually conceals a state of the art – dual- fridge freezer whilst the island conceals other modern, integrated appliances ensuring that the kitchen is in tune with today’s busy family requirements.
