Guest Bedroom in Greys and Purples

We were tasked with transforming this kids' bedroom into one for guests. Toning down all the different wood trim was one of our first priorities. Changing the wall colour and adding practical touches like a desk and chair, hooks for hanging clothes, and a dresser were our next steps.

This former kids' bedroom was to be transformed into a guest bedroom, and one of our first tasks was to tone down all the different shades of wood! White paint, here we come!

In addition to painting out all the wood trim to make everything white, we changed the wall colour to a soft grey, added a king sized bed with custom upholstered headboard, then did a trip to West Elm for the bedding, desk, chair and night stand!

In addition to painting out all the wood trim to make everything white, we changed the wall colour to a soft grey, and added a king sized bed. The wood dresser can also be used as a sideboard in a dining or living space, but we found it to be perfect for guest bedroom storage!
