Maureen's Ensuite

In this ensuite bathroom, we were tasked with reusing as many of the existing elements as possible: toilet, tub, and both vanities. Everything else, including the position of the fixtures, was up for grabs!

In this shot, we see the new shower, installed into the odd corner where a vanity used to live, and spanning onto the newly tiled bathtub, creating a bench seat in the shower.

This before shot shows the two vanities and the bathtub. We reused both vanities and kept the bathtub in place.

This is the other vanity in the space, Lots of angles to deal with in this room. Tub was also staying, but getting a facelift.

The vanities were each 48" wide, so with the desire for wall sconces on either side of a mirror, we realized the mirrors would have to be rather narrow to fit between the lights, so we decided to mirror most of the wall above each vanity, and mount the lights directly onto the mirror.
