A large family home, recently renovated throughout, has a large L shaped garden with a frontage on the river Thames. The garden areas by the house needed our attention first, there were out of scale and in poor condition with difficult levels to negotiate. The clients wanted to keep a rose garden, though we completely redesigned and planted anew along with a generous terrace. A new car parking area is now screened from the garden by a pleached hedge, with discreet views down through the new herbaceous borders to the orchard beyond.
