Located close to the heart of Merivale, Christchurch is this stunning private section. With a passion for perfecting his outdoor area and a fantastic vision for the space our client approached us to unlock the potential of the property.

While encompassing the design of the full property, our brief focussed on creating the perfect outdoor entertainment courtyard with strong indoor-outdoor flow. Incorporating a tiled fireplace central to the large sliding doors of the house, beautiful polished concrete bench tops with built-in teppanyaki plate, sink, drinks fridge and wood storage along with raised planters, a louvre roof, planting and external concrete surfacing level with the internal polished concrete floor, this space transformed into an entertainers paradise.

Although it sounds large, with relatively small outdoor spaces and having building code regulations to adhere to, creating the perfect design for the space which suited our clients requirements was paramount. 3D imagery quickly became a crucial tool during the design process to show our client different layout options, material choices and design solutions. Our client loved being involved in this process, helping bring his vision to life. Together we created his perfect outdoors.
