Metallic Blue with Glass Lip, Netherlee, Glasgow
ICE BLUE!.....DOESN'T HAVE TO BE COLD
This is a beautifully fitted kitchen, designed and installed to the highest standard, by Glenlith Interiors in Netherlee, Glasgow.
Glenlith Interiors, were given the pleasure of tendering for this project. Our client loved our "Zurfiz" door with the glass effect lipping, in particular, the Metallic Blue. The Metallic Blue door has reflective particles, which enhance's the light that reflects from the door. This can be natural sunlight or LED lighting. This metallic finish requires the kitchen facade to be installed directional (reason for arrows on the protective film in pictures).
The Silestone "Blanco Stellar" is 20mm thick which suits modern kitchens. On the island we have used a large sweeping curve to allow up to five stools. On the main run, a stunning extra deep 1.5 undermount bowl, with left handed drainer. On the second run, our client asked for an additional sink, to turn to, from the hob, when draining pasta etc....great idea!
Our client did not want hob facing sliding doors, instead, facing the right hand elevation. The island has been left with extra task space on either side, the right hand side, being balanced out, with a custom made unit, with LEDs for cookbooks etc.
In all, I think this is a stunning kitchen, with a cool, crisp modern feel.
