Powder Room Renewal - Traditional
The powder room (formerly a closet) in this 1930’s Tudor was tired. White wainscoting and a custom mirror frame was installed to compliment the original window frame. Marble mosaic tile was added to provide additional interest, texture and “bling”. A small IKEA sink was dressed up with brushed nickel brackets. An oversized antique schoolhouse light provides an unexpected touch to this small space.
Within the same home we used a similar mosaic tile in the master bath, extending from the open shower to serve as a back-splash over the vanity. Fixtures from the same series were chosen to maintain continuity across three bathrooms.
