Primrose Hill
An attractive, fun, and private urban garden for a young family living in the middle of the city: strong geometry combined with bespoke craftsmanship and textural planting transformed this space into one that looks and feels special both from within and above.
We worked closely with the client and architect to link the garden with the beautiful period house and contemporary extension through use of materials and shapes. The garden needed to come right down into the lower ground space and the journey up to the higher level needed to be gradual and exciting to entice exploration. The solution included designing bespoke, cantilevered, curved steps inspired by the house’s period windows and a built-in circular seating area.
