This project adds a contemporary glazed extension to a Grade II Listed terraced house in Stoke Newington, enhancing modern living while respecting heritage. Wrapping around the original structure, the transparent addition frames and celebrates the existing Victorian brickwork, keeping it visible from both inside and out. By receding visually through glass, the extension creates light-filled, flexible living spaces with strong garden connections, demonstrating how sensitive contemporary design can complement and amplify historic architecture without compromise.
