Transforming a wedge-shaped garden into a multi-functional evening retreat was a unique challenge that called for creative space optimisation and cohesive design. The client envisioned a garden that would feature a hot tub, bar, kitchen, and two patios, all seamlessly integrated into a stylish and practical outdoor leisure space.

To maximise the limited area, the design team redefined the layout, carefully balancing functionality and flow. A consistent material palette of hardwood fencing, hardwood decking, and luxurious clay pavers, accented by black metal elements, brought a fresh and modern aesthetic to the garden.

Key features include a sleek bar counter positioned at the edge of the hot tub, enhancing its social appeal, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen installed along one wall. The two patios add variety to the space: the lower patio, finished in elegant porcelain, serves as a formal gathering area, while the upper decking patio offers a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere.

To make the most of the narrowest part of the garden, a vertical vegetable and herb garden was introduced, providing both practicality and a green touch. This thoughtful design successfully blends multiple functions into a unified space, creating the ultimate evening retreat.
