A bright traditional and retro design has really made the most of this light extension of a beautiful country house. A classic shaker style kitchen painted in Tracery 2 was a subtle contrast to the light cream décor of this room.

Honed black granite worktops created a more dramatic contrast but complemented the dark flooring and black Mercury range cooker sat in a faux chimney breast with modern but retro styled white brick effect tiles.

A traditional Villeroy and Boch classic double bowl Belfast sink kept the country theme, however an undermount ceramic prep sink added to the contemporary edge and practical elements required by our customer. Oak chopping boards and trays were made and were a nice finishing touch as were the chrome handles.

This brochure ready kitchen was the ideal family space and a great example of how the rustic style of a ‘farmhouse’ kitchen can be brought into modern day without compromising on style or practicality.
