This sympathetically extended and renovated victorian cottage in a South Cambs village has a fantastic open plan kitchen diner that is super child friendly. We gave the traditional shaker kitchen a bit of drama by adding an off black feature island with oversized pendant lights above, looking fabulous with the soft blue cabinetry elsewhere in the kitchen. The island is painted in Top Hat and the rest in Sea Lavender, both by Fired Earth.
The floor is solid oak and brings warmth to the space, which benifits from 3 huge windows and patio doors, so plenty of natural light to play with.
