Dave & Tania Ideas
I don't think I would want the same, exactly, but I like the way they designed the backsplash tiles to have a unique though subtle, shape
Nice use of rounded lamps to balance the many corners here... though I like the clean lines of all those white cabinets
Like the look of this hood
When this style backsplash was first in a few years ago I liked it but now that it's all over home depot, I'm over it
The black backsplash over ther stove is cool, the rest not so much
Please do *not* build a backsplash out of a painting that chronicles the horrors of the Spanish Civil war! Lol
Yes, please
I want this
Wondering if turning things around like this would work in our space without bumping out. Like the bw and gray
Love this use of space too
Really like the cabinets here and also the unique idea of making the island work on a diagonal...great use of space!!
Like the wall of shaker cabs in this kitchen you did!
Like the vent and range. Like the countertops
Love the utensils storage!! Especially the fact that pulling it out like that will mean plenty of light coming through both sides to see what's in there
Soooo, despite everything we said, we *really* like the herringbone subway tile and the black island! We don't like gray cabinets, but the black, white, and gray combo is nice. The more I think about it the more the black contrast piece seems elegant if most of the cabs are white
I forgot to mention that Tupperware storage is crucial for us. We have a lot and use it a lot and loved having a storage drawer in our other house, though the shelves above are even more awesome
Not sure if there's a vent in there of the kind Dave wants but I liked the curved arch above to frame cooking space
This is interesting storage option if we don't have room for pantry
Simple mudroom storage
Mudroom storage, more shiplap looking as opposed to tradition bead board at the bench space
Only looking at that navy cabinetry for possible buffet storage solutions
Mudroom storage
Mudroom storage
Mudroom storage
Wall of cabinetry has an interesting organization to it, the contemporary feel is only the slab door style, some similar elements could be nice on the open wall we will have on the kitchen side of the office wall (something similar on smaller scale for buffet space)

Neat features like the built in paper towel holder over trash cabinet. If we are bumping out the kitchen, a new triple window like this could be a nice celebration at the sink (no subway tile or brass finishes). Decorative lights at sink are interesting. The cabinet that size on the counter top in the corner is a good use of storage.
White on white with marble tops/backsplash and paneled appliances, sink in island.
Appliance cabinet we cab place to hide every day items like coffee maker or toaster.
Subtle white/gray cabinets with more sculptural hood this features a full hgt backsplash of quartz counter top material in lie of tile. The moment can show nicely.
White and gray shaker style kitchen with 48” range & cabinetry hood with storage for spices on the sides, light gray island with sink in island and paneled appliances like the refridge.
Same gray kitchen, though note the way they treated the wall corner with open shelving for easy reach then glass wall cabinets flanking the window.
This kitchen has been trending for a few months. No to the subway backsplash, though wanted you to see the gray cabinets, lighter counter tops, cabinetry hood (as opposed to a stainless piece) shaker door and what looks to be a 48” range top for cooking. A typical L-Shape kitchen with island though anything but typical.
Like this tile i think
