A White Garden
Country Garden, Hampshire
This design was for a garden within a large country estate that comprised only white-flowering or silver-leaved plants.
The soil was thoroughly aerated and improved before planting. My clients wanted a romantic feel, so I included lots of roses, clematis, phlox and other traditional garden plants. Height and structure were provided in the form of bespoke obelisks for the roses, a sundial in the centre and topiary balls along the paths.
