This family room with dark stained wood cabinetry and wainscotting was dated. We gave this room a fresh feel by painting out the wainscotting and cabinetry in cloud white as well as update the fireplace with a wood and slate surround. We also scraped the stucco off the ceilings and added potlights and crown mouldings. With new accessories and an oversided ottoman, the room now feels fresh, bright and renewed.
