The Master Bedroom had a long empty wall and the idea was to break it up with a pattern to create interest. The wall moldings became the artwork, so to speak. Soft colors create the aura of rest and comfort. Wall sconces were added for reading, with a very directional light, so as not to disturb a sleeping partner.
