This was a full house remodel by interior designer Valorie Spence of Interior Design Solutions. Central Pacific Construction was the tile contractor creating two custom bathrooms using Limestone and Travertine with custom mosaic accents. Both bathrooms featured curb-less showers and utilized trench drain systems eliminating the need for glass enclosures.

Monical DesignThis is one of my all time favorite bathrooms because of the clean lines and relaxing color palette. We found this beautiful irradescent back splash tile that we ran vertically in a square area between the corner tall cabinet and the open area to the right of the vanity. I love to run a mirror from countertop to ceiling to create an illusion of height. By using a permanent mirror we saved money on back splash tile but create the look of a wall of glass tile. The counter top is raw soapstone that we loved the concrete appearance of and did not want to oil it and lose the grey industrial finish. We also used large drawers in the floating vanity cabinet for a large amount of storage for any bathroom items. The floating tall cabinet has adjustable shelves and square doors. None of the cabinetry touches any of the perpendicular walls or flooring which made it easy to install and fit.

Crystal Kitchen + BathThis Guest Bathroom has a small footprint and the shower was claustrophobic in size.
We could not enlarge the bathroom, so we made changes that made it feel more open.
By cutting down the shower wall and installing a glass panel, the shower now has a more open feeling. Through the glass panel you are able to see the pretty artisan blue tiles that coordinate with the penny round floor tiles.
The vanity was only 18” deep, which restricted our sink options. We chose a natural soapstone countertop with a Corian oval sink. Rich walnut wood cabinetry, polished nickel plumbing and light fixtures add sparkle to the space.

LETTER FOUR, INC.For this project LETTER FOUR worked closely with the homeowners to fully transform the existing home via complete Design-Build services. The home was a small, single story home on an oddly-shaped lot, in the Pacific Palisades, with an awkward floor plan that was not functional for a growing family. We added a second story, a roof deck, reconfigured the first floor, and fully transformed the finishes, fixtures, flow, function, and feel of the home, all while securing an exemption from California Coastal Commission requirements. We converted this typical 1950's Spanish style bungalow into a modern Spanish gem, and love to see how much our clients are enjoying their new home!
