Bathtub Bumpout

Eclectic Bathroom, DC Metro

A bathtub was needed in this beautiful bathroom so we created a cantilevered "bathtub bumpout" that incorporated a Kohler "greek or Japanese" syle soaking tub complete with a padded pillow. The entire tub and addition were insulated with high density spray foam which keeps it well conditioned as well as does a great job in keeping the bathtub water hot. A beautiful Mosaic tile finished off the tub surround and splash area. Photo's by Dale Kramer
