This Hollywood Glitz and Glamour bedroom was designed for the Philharmonic 2005 House. Interior Affairs was awarded the master bedroom after sharing the concept of the design with color swatches and sketches that captured the exact feeling the committee was hoping for. the bed is on a platform with lighting along the outside edge of the platform creating a night light or ambience in the room. The night stands are dark mahogany, with chandieliers hanging over each night stand. This treatment allows for more room creating more functional use. There is a retreat off to one side of the room where windows are framed in beautiful silk draperies. Two high-low chairs upholstered in a gorgeous mineral blue crushed vlevet. Carmel leather is used for the ottoman that sets in between both chairs allowing for the homeowners to use it as a cocktail table or for comfort. Off to the other side of the room, a sleek modernistic writing desk is used with a wood framed arm chair. A beautiful handpainted screen in art deco pattern was especially created by our own artist! Down the hall runs a long fluffly rug...soothing enough for the barefeet!
