This room was too small for a large scale bed, so instead we used a day bed with trundle to allow for additional sleeping space. The painted furniture really adds some color and dimension to the space. The draperypanels also add some height and bring in a neutral element on the blue walls. Seating is always a great thing in a bedroom, to be able to put your shoes on, or rest your suitcase on while unpacking.
