BANDD DESIGNA farmhouse coastal styled home located in the charming neighborhood of Pflugerville. We merged our client's love of the beach with rustic elements which represent their Texas lifestyle. The result is a laid-back interior adorned with distressed woods, light sea blues, and beach-themed decor. We kept the furnishings tailored and contemporary with some heavier case goods- showcasing a touch of traditional. Our design even includes a separate hangout space for the teenagers and a cozy media for everyone to enjoy! The overall design is chic yet welcoming, perfect for this energetic young family.
Project designed by Sara Barney’s Austin interior design studio BANDD DESIGN. They serve the entire Austin area and its surrounding towns, with an emphasis on Round Rock, Lake Travis, West Lake Hills, and Tarrytown.

Kos InteriorsThe bar itself has varying levels of privacy for its members. The main room is the most open and is dramatically encircled by glass display cases housing members’ private stock. A Japanese style bar anchors the middle of the room, while adjacent semi-private spaces have exclusive views of Lido Park. Complete privacy is provided via two VIP rooms accessible only by the owner.

Revival by DesignOur clients were keen to get more from this space. They didn't use the pool so were looking for a space that they could get more use out of. Big entertainers they wanted a multifunctional space that could accommodate many guests at a time. The space has be redesigned to incorporate a home bar area, large dining space and lounge and sitting space as well as dance floor.
Thyme & Place Design LLCMy clients always wanted a fireplace in the family room but could not build the necessary chimney due to building restrictions. To overcome this obstacle we installed an Eco Smart bio fuel fireplace. which became the focal point of the room. Next we added custom cabinetry for storage which coordinated with the kitchen (which is an open room adjacent to this space). Custom furnishings from American Leather and Hickory Chair were selected for my tall client. High performance fabrics were selected to provide worry free enjoyment of the furniture. Finishing accent pieces from Charleston Forge add a warm and contemporary vibe to the pace. The dark stain is a beautiful contrast to the lighter colorway. As you can see there are 2 skylights and 2 very large windows so light is not a problem but sun and heat are. With the height of the ceilings, we needed a large but good looking ceiling fan to control the temperature. An oversize custom ceiling fan was chosen. The walls are a coordinated blue grey to compliment the Venetian plaster finished fireplace column. The rear wall is painted a contrasting color to highlight the fireplace and the built in cherry cabinetry. a Vintage Patchwork rug defines the furniture area and helps soften the sound in the room Custom artwork by the clients mother add the final touches. hansen innenarchitekturWir nutzten eine vorhandene Nische in der Kopfwand für die Unterbringung von TV und Technik. Der Rest der Wand wurde lediglich mit Blenden in unterschiedlichen Tiefen verkleidet. So entsteht der Eindruck einer wandfüllenden Schranks. Der Fernseher samt Soundbar ist in der Nische untergebracht. Verschlossen wird sie mit zwei Schiebetüren, die geöffnet wie ein Teil der Wandverkleidung wirken. Unter dem Fernseher sind die Geräte in zwei Fächern mit Fronten aus satiniertem Glas untergebracht. So sind sie außer Sicht, können aber mittels Fernbedienung gesteuert werden. Darunter bieten zwei Schubladen Platz für DVDs und CDs. In den offenen Fächern über dem Fernseher ist Platz für schöne Dinge. Eingelassene LED-Leisten betonen die unterschiedlichen Tiefen der Blenden und schaffen eine angenehme indirekte Beleuchtung zum Fernsehen.
Den größten Teil des Raumes nimmt ein gemütliches Sofa mit 4 bis 5 Sitzplätzen ein. Ein Sideboard hinter dem Sofa schafft Stauraum und ist zugleich praktische Ablage für Gläser.
Die Flächen der TV-Wand sind matt weiß lackiert. Der Boden und die Tür im Raum sind aus Birke, dieses Holz wird in der Umrandung und den Fächern der TV-Wand wieder aufgenommen. Die übrigen Wände des Raumes sind – passend zu einem Bild in Blautönen – in einem dunklen Petrolton gestrichen, ebenso wie die Rückwand der Nische.
Die Fensterfront wird durch eine leichte bodentiefe Gardine verdeckt. Schwere Samtvorhänge sorgen für ungestörten Fernsehgenuss.
