This recently completed project began life with the client extending the long narrow kitchen and dining area into the rear garden with a pitched roof extension, Velux windows and three large sliding doors.
Client brief was to create a space that would work as a family kitchen with occasional dining, formal dining and a snug area, providing space to relax.
The use of mirrors and lighting below the island, sink area and glass support for the raised seating, creates the feeling of open aspect floating furniture. The matching circular dining table and use of the same materials throughout gives a seamless transition between the kitchen and formal dining area.
