New York, NY. By creating a central pavilion to house all services, this loft's ceiling and floor planes are allowed to define an open space which extends out to the views beyond. The pavilion's walls lead one into the next, like a pinwheel. Along with three floating walls, these planes cause the space to open up and reveal itself as one moves through. The client's extensive art collection resides throughout.
