Inspiration for a small modern open plan living room in Toronto with white walls, dark hardwood flooring and a freestanding tv.

Four Seasons Private Residence

Modern Living Room, Toronto

Above the client's prized media system, a custom walnut and ebonized oak wall installation by Toronto furniture designer Bettie Cott balances the asymmetrical space. To the right, a one of a kind walnut air plant tripod sculpture, also by Cott, anchors the composition. A Jonathan Adler Syrie Grey rug provides the backdrop for the black glass Pool coffee table by Bensen, reflecting the Modo chandelier by Roll & Hill above. The bronze legs of the Maxalto Simpliciter sofa by Antonio Citterio mirror the metallic details of the Dick Spierenburg Dickens chairs. (Interior design and photos: Sarah Townson)
