A structural beam extends across the space where a dividing wall used to be creating a seamless transition between the kitchen and living room. The living room features a new media center with bookcases and tall storage. New oak hardwood flooring was installed to cover the footprints of the old walls, and laced into the existing hardwood floor where necessary.
