Hay's aim when designing the Bjørn Sofa was to create a comfortable and soft seating system that was also firm and practical. It is available as either a two or three-seater sofa and comes in a choice of colours and fabrics.
From beginning to end the design process has been very 'hands on' to get exactly the right shapes, curves and stitches for the Bjørn Sofa. The slender frame contrasts the voluminous body and the legs give the sofa an elegant feel. Stitching has been minimized and each seat, backrest and armrest is upholstered in just one piece of fabric to make the edges soft and round.
