Modern Dining Room

The dining room is located right in the centre of the house, in between the kitchen and living room. Consequently, this is the room with the highest traffic - to get from the hallway into the kitchen, and the utility room to the garden. We really needed to plan the space to make sure we have enough of it, not just for dinners for two but also for entertaining larger groups. This really meant that an extendable dining table with extra dining chairs was the way to go. I wanted everyone who uses this room to be comfortable and feel relaxed. Who likes stressing during a meal? Neutral warm colours complimented the existing flooring beautifully and the greenery, placed in a stunning and trendy plant bed (which is easy to move around if need be) brought an added freshness to the room.
