Kitchen with Columns

The Kitchen was originally very dark and closed off from the rest of the house. We used a trio of columns to open the corner of the kitchen to the adjacent dining room & entry - a method that allowed us to open the rooms to each other while maintaining use of the corner for cabinet layout.
