A warm and inviting space to wake up to, cook your favourite meals and share special times with family and friends. The heart of the home, most definitely in Raven House, a large room overlooking the plush garden. Our design process is set up to tease out what is unique about a project and a client so that we can create something peculiar to them. When we first went to see this client, we noticed that they used their fridge as a kind of notice board to put up pictures by the kids, reminders, lists, cards etc… with magnets onto the metal face of the old fridge. In their new kitchen they wanted integrated appliances and for things to be neat, but we felt these drawings and cards needed a place to be celebrated and we proposed a cork panel integrated into the cabinet fronts… the idea developed into a full band of cork, stained black to match the black front of the oven, to bind design together. It also acts as a bit of a sound absorber (important when you have 3yr old twins!) and sits over the splash back so that there is a lot of space to curate an evolving backdrop of things you might pin to it. In this design, we wanted to design the island as big table in the middle of the room. The thing about thinking of an island like a piece of furniture in this way is that it allows light and views through and around; it all helps the island feel more delicate and elegant… and the room less taken up by island. The frame is made from solid oak and we stained it black to balance the composition with the stained cork. The sink run is a set of floating drawers that project from the wall and the flooring continues under them - this is important because again, it makes the room feel more spacious. The full height cabinets are purposefully a calm, matt off white. We used Farrow and Ball ’School house white’… because its our favourite ‘white’ of course! All of the whitegoods are integrated into this full height run: oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a gigantic pantry cupboard. A sweet detail is the hand turned cabinet door knobs - The clients are music lovers and the knobs are enlarged versions of the volume knob from a 1970s record player.

It is always a pleasure to work with design-conscious clients. This is a great amalgamation of materials chosen by our clients. Rough-sawn oak veneer is matched with dark grey engineering bricks to make a unique look. The soft tones of the marble are complemented by the antique brass wall taps on the splashback

Effective kitchen design is the process of combining layout, surfaces, appliances and design details to form a cooking space that's easy to use and fun to cook and socialise in. Pairing colours can be a challenge - there’s no doubt about it. If you dare to be adventurous, purple presents a playful option for your kitchen interior. Cream tiles and cabinets work incredibly well as a blank canvas, which means you can be as bright or as dark as you fancy when it comes to using purple..

A renovator’s dream with a previous life as a Rectory and care home. On top of the hill, the front of the building remains untouched with delicate restoration work to enhance the original beauty. The back of the building once contained two wings with a rich and plentiful history which have since been removed and renovated into the magnificent window feature where a Sustainable Kitchen sits proud.

Looking for a space which was perfect for entertaining and family life, the design incorporates a plentiful larder, huge fridge as well as discrete ovens and hobs. The oak waterfall nestles into the Carrera marble style quartz counter top, providing a casual eating or drinking zone. The fluted bar stools from April and the Bear were similar to those spotted in a local bar, and also nod to the fluted glazing with in the upper units. Two Heracleum endless chandelier from Moooi light the dining and island area. Beautiful by day and by night. The Crofts and Assinder Sterling Brass handles provide the bling, whilst the unsealed engineered oak parquet from the Natural Wood Company gives a timeless grounding to the space.

Scavolini Liberamente Collection. Metal Cooper Lacquered and Powder Pink lacquered units with a worktop by Topcret of hand-coated cement in Forest Brown. A lovely modern industrial styled design in contrast to the Victorian property. A very cohesive colour scheme was needed to achieve the clients desired result of a masculine style with plenty of warmth.

One of our favourite handleless Shaker kitchens that we have recently installed is this kitchen in Hampstead. We love the 'Basalt' paint colour by Little Greene and it goes perfectly with the Teltos Statuario worktops. The beautiful oak herringbone floor adds warmth to create a lovely homely space. We also love the reeded glass wall cupboards surrounding the Falmec Pro Zeus extractor.

A light, bright open plan kitchen with ample space to dine, cook and store everything that needs to be tucked away. As always, our bespoke kitchens are designed and built to suit lifestyle and family needs and this one is no exception. Plenty of island seating and really importantly, lots of room to move around it. Large cabinets and deep drawers for convenient storage plus accessible shelving for cook books and a wine fridge perfectly positioned for the cook! Look closely and you’ll see that the larder is shallow in depth. This was deliberately (and cleverly!) designed to accommodate a large beam behind the back of the cabinet, yet still allows this run of cabinets to look balanced. We’re loving the distinctive brass handles by Armac Martin against the Hardwicke White paint colour on the cabinetry - along with the Hand Silvered Antiqued mirror splashback there’s plenty of up-to-the-minute design details which ensure this classic shaker is contemporary yes classic in equal measure.

Frome InteriorsFrome Interiors
This bespoke family kitchen was part of the renovation of a period home in Frome. The ground floor is a half basement and struggled with dark rooms and a layout that did not function well for family life. New windows were added to the adjoining dining room and crisp white finishes and clever lighting have transformed the space. Bespoke cabinets maximised the limited head height and corner space. Designed in a classic shaker style and painted in Hopper by Little Greene with classic burnished brass ironmongery, it is a timeless design.
