Quarry MillThis gorgeous rustic inspired cobblestone fireplace is made Coastline natural thin stone veneer from the Quarry Mill. Coastline is a natural New England cobblestone. The pieces of natural stone veneer come in various colors, shapes and sizes. Coastline has a weathered and naturally rough texture with mainly earth tones. This thin stone veneer is a great fit on lake houses or coastal homes. Stones of this style can also be referred to as boulders or round side out stone. Coastline is unique because it is not a quarried stone by rather a natural fieldstone. Cobblestones can be used for both interior and exterior applications and are well suited for both large and small projects. For masons who are comfortable with and have experience installing cobblestones, they typically go quickly and have a medium to low installation cost.

Treske LtdThis bespoke shelving was designed and made to fit two alcoves each side of the chimneybreast in a room used by the family as a snug, TV and games room. The use of Zebrano veneer gives a light modern and stylish touch to the room. The veneer is used to create LED lit display shelving; a two door cupboard to conceal the games consoles sits above a log store in each alcove. The veneer is also used on the skirting linking the two halves of the design.

We framed in the porch and extended the living room, by bumping out the wall and replacing the existing windows with a 6'8" x 12' sliding glass door. the custom built-ins and fireplace in the open great room. Stillwater Woodworking created custom cabinets and mantel to the left, both are painted "Frostine" white, Benjamin Moore, and the cabinets are finished with Schuab Northport pulls in ancient bronze. We had a mason come in and restore the original fireplace with "Bitterroot" colored stone. Flooring is 7" Sawtooth rustic hickory with a medium finish. Walls are "Sea Salt" by Sherwin Williams. Our client’s love spending time together and they now they have a home where all generations can comfortably come together under one roof.
The open plan kitchen / living space is large enough for everyone to gather whilst there are areas like the snug to get moments of peace and quiet away from the hub of the home.
We’ve substantially increased the size of the property using no more than the original footprint of the existing house. The volume gained has allowed them to create five large bedrooms, two with en-suites and a family bathroom on the first floor providing space for all the family to stay.
The home now combines bright open spaces with secluded, hidden areas, designed to make the most of the views out to their private rear garden and the landscape beyond
