This project is "Simple Tuscan Desert" with regional vernacular. The project was designed based on the site topography and programming requirements. The materials for interior and exterior were selected with a collaborative effort with owners, builder and architect. Going through this process has integrated historic woods, stone, glass and stucco into a mix of textures and colors.
Interior layouts are open and richly adorned with color and unique materials not typically applied in this region. The spaces are oriented to the Bookcliffe and Mt. Garfield, as well as, the city lights in the evening.
The exterior spaces are on the north side and are oriented to the views.
